Pre-Super Bowl Sewing

Wow, sooooo excited the Ravens are going to the Superbowl!  I've been making these cute hats and scarves!  Here's a few pics!!!!!

A happy customer

I'm making these stoles for my church.  The families are so happy to receive them.

While putting away some patterns, I realized I had two of these (McCalls 4851)....therefore, I'm having a giveaway!!! How do you store/organize your pattern stash?  Leave a comment and you'll be entered to win! The winner will be chosen randomly on February 5th at 8:30 pm.  Good luck!!!!

Now back to my Stash Buster sewing.  I'm working on a jumper using a wool knit from my stash...I'll post pictures real soon!!!!
Till next time!!!!

I store by company and then by style.

I store patterns in a file drawer by type. For example all PJ patterns together, all blouse patterns together etc.

I am beginning to store mine 1)pattern envelope in a binder and 2)pattern/guide sheet in a manila filed numerically by company in lateral file drawer. I was inspired by another blogger, I forget who, with this idea.

I store mine in one of those hanging shoe bags. We stapled one side so that they wouldn't slide out. But I'm sure you could sew one end. Then we organized them by type. Bags, quilts, baby things, etc..

I use the binder and envelope method~ I store the pattern jackets in a binder by company, i.e, Vogue binder, Butterick binder, etc. Then, I store the pattern/directions in clasps envelopes, numerically in "Banker" boxes.
