Summer's ending

Hello blogland friends! I've been quite busy!!!!   We had our heat converted from oil to gas.  In order to get the oil tank out we had to rip out a wall in my Sewing Center!  Well I wanted that extra space so I carted all of my fabric and most of the things in the front part of the room to the living and dining room!  I'm so pleased with the results and I've gained about 30" width in the front of my Sewing Center!!!!!

My DH repainted the walls and moved my embroidery machine to the new area!  He's a keeper!!!!

I've spent the last week moving things around....I've got some more moving/rearranging to do....but it will have to wait as I have much sewing to complete!!!!!

I'm finishing up with bridal alterations, 3 dresses for clients, a blazer for a client, and 2 custom aprons.

I also plan to be a vendor at my church's Ladies Night Out in October!   So I've got to carve out some time to make some aprons.  My goal is to make 40!

I've also been enjoying the new addition to our family!  GD #4. Niyonna Pippi Ross.  She was born July 20!!!!  She looks so big in these pictures....she weighed 5 lbs 15 ozs and now weighs about 7 lbs. She's so ADORABLE!!!!  Can't get that little lady to smile though...she's always looking so serious!

We'll until next time...back to my sewing projects....it's Saturday before Labor Day and I've already completed two of the three dresses (Vogue 1091).  My clients are sisters and they want to wear this dress to their mother's retirement party.

Happy Holiday!!!! Enjoy your weekend!!!!!
