My lastest project was such a joy to make! My goddaughter's son was baptized this past weekend, and I got the honor of making his baptismal romper. It was made completely from fabrics in my stash. The body was from fabric I used for a wedding gown some years ago. Talk about green sewing! I was away and didn't get to attend the mass. I attended the Capital Jazz Fest at the Merriweather Post Pavillion in Columbia, MD this past weekend! It was marvelous, three of my sewing friends go every year. We spend the weekend in Columbia, MD , since we attend all three days. It's like a weekend long slumber party. Someone always has on something that they made and we tell sewing stories and swap ideas too. We heard lots of contemporary jazz; Four Play, Chaka Kahn, Will Downing, Huge Groove, George Duke, Marcus Miller, Victor Woo, Stanly Clark, Al Jarreau, and Kirk Whalum were my favorites!I have a spa day coming up on June 22! Can't wait to get my shoulders massaged! Sitting at a sewing machine day in and day out from Jan - May is rough!

It is an adorable romper. The fact that you made it from wedding dress fabric is really nice; it must have made you happy to have created two joyous occasion outfits from one piece of fabric.
