Love them there pants!!!!!

I had to come up for air!  I.m up to my ears in prom, Easter, 1st Communion, and bridal party alterations.  I made these a couple of months ago and am just getting around to posting them.  They are turning out to be my favs!  I rarely make the same pattern twice, but this is my first TNT pattern ever!!!!!!!  Vogue 8859 by Marcy Tilton.  They are so comfy and you can dress them up or down.  I used a cotton knit ponte purchased from Gail K Fabrics in Atlanta, GA.  I used my serger and cover stitch entirely.  Well back to my client sewing!  Thanks for stopping by!  Next post will be another giveaway!

I attached the pockets using the cover stitch!!!

Little "White" Dress Vogue 1091

The little black dress is a wardrobe staple.  I decided a needed a little white dress for the summer.  This dress will be great for church or work.  The directions were clear and straightforward, very simple to sew together.  I used both the serger and sewing machine to whip it up.  A beginner's pattern for sure.  Vogue 1091 is a great pattern for those of you who are afraid to work with Vogue.  I used a white knit that I purchased from Metro Textiles on my recent trip to New York.  I used my coverstitch on the sleeves and hem.

I love this pattern!

This is the 3rd top I've made with this pattern (discontinued Simplicity 8809).  The fabric is from my last trip to NY (Metro Textiles).  Super simple, just 2 pattern pieces.  I serged the entire top and used my cover stitch for the neckline and hems.  I interfaced the neckline with a fusible tricot interfacing!
