Well the snow finally stopped and one skirt finished so far! Self-drafted with box pleats, unlined, with a side zipper. I purchased this fabric from A Fabric Place in Baltimore, MD. It's an Italian silk brocade. The picture doesn't capture the iridescent shimmer in the fabric.
The Feds are closed tomorrow so I'll continue my
sew-cation. Hopefully the plow will come through my neighborhood so
that I can dig out my car and drive to the main road!
